All:
Happy New Year and I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. With the turn of the year means that Baseball Season is only a few months away (and dare I say it, the warm weather!!). I know many people are still in football mode and that is fine, however, the JBA Executive Board and Directors are hard at work preparing for this season.
Below is a list of the dates that are of importance in the coming months. First and foremost we need to complete the registration process and then move forward from there. As I indicated in my first letter, we are moving towards inter-league play with the likes of Sayreville and Spotswood among others. This will make the season that much more enjoyable for our players. This will take place at both Minors and Majors level. The season will be capped off with a round-robin playoff (both divisions) as well as an inter-league All-Star game (both divisions) which will feature the top performers from all of the teams.
The Board is working hard to put everything in place and will continue to do so. We need your help with various phases of this as you will see from the list below. Lets get off to a good start and get everyone to participate from the get-go and make this a fun and exciting year for our players. We preach teamwork to our players and it is important that we as parents and coaches practice what we preach and work together. We had a great effort in certain phases of our operation last year, however, concessions and canning were still a struggle and we cant survive without success in these areas.
