All,

As the season has come to a close, I would like to thanks all the players of our league. Without YOU, this season would not have been possible. It has been great all season to see each player step onto the field and improve their game every day. I thank you for not only a great season but also a great 2-year term as President of this league.

Just a few quick thank yous. I would like to thank the parents of this league. You are the ones who get these players back and forth to practice and games and are sometimes forgotten. I thank you for the opportunity to watch your child play the game of baseball.  I would like to thank Nancy Hague for her unlimited hours spent keeping the concession stand open for all to enjoy.

I would like to thank all the Managers and Coaches for volunteering their time and their continued commitment to the children of this league.

I would like to take a brief moment to thank an individual whose commitment to this league may have gone unmentioned but does not go unnoticed. Past President Jim Eldridge spent many hours with me rescheduling all the rain out games we had over this past season. As we all know, mother nature did not want to play nice with us but somehow, Jim came up with a game plan to reschedule as many games as possible. He also spent numerous hours at the ball fields early making sure that the fields were prepared for the games being held that night. Jim - as I have said in the past, thank you again - I commend you.

I would like to thank my Executive Board. They have all helped out greatly this season and without them and their volunteered time, all of what has been accomplished over the last 2 years would not have been possible. Toni, Tom, Will, John, & Mike - I commend you for your continued support and dedication to this league and its players. I commend you for the countless hours of volunteer time which is spent by each of you in order to run this league.

I would like to take one more opportunity to thank my wife Kathy and kids Billy & Dyanna for all the sacrifices they have made so that the time needed to run this league was made available.

If I have forgotten anyone, I apologize and thank you.
